Today, you find people in all sorts of relationships with the tagline "we are dating to getting married", yet they don't want to be seen with their partner, they don't want their partner to know their house, family, friends etc. They want the relationship hidden for various excuses. If you are in such a relationship, you are not serious. You are a bundle of jokers wasting time. Marriage is a very serious business for serious people. Anyone who wants to date you should know this. He or she must be serious and know exactly what they want. You who they want to be in a relationship with should insist on someone who is serious. If he or she is not serious, don't date them, don't propose to them either. Don't accept their proposal unless you want them to waste your time or you have enough time to waste. Have you asked why employers demand working experience and certificate before they give you the job you claim you can do? Do you know why they ask for your CV? They want to study you before they give the green light. They want to be sure before they say YES to you. Even after the CV, they continue to engage you in conversations called interview just to be sure before they make an offer. An offer which comes with probation. You don't just agree to study people in the name of a relationship when you don't see anything in them. It's either there is nothing there or you are too blind to see. You don't propose to people out of excitement but out of conviction. Before you tell someone "I love you and I want to be in a relationship with you" make sure you mean it, and have taken time to know them. Make sure they are more than friends. You don't propose to a stranger. You first study the stranger, he or she becomes a friend, that friendship grows into something you want to be associated with. Before you propose to any friend, make sure you see a spouse in them. If you don't see a wife in a woman, don't tell her, "let me study you for a wife". If you have not seen a husband in that man who wants to be in a relationship with you, don't accept his proposal. For those who can't wait to propose to the lady in your church, area, etc, my question to you is, what have you seen in the lady you want to be in a relationship with? If it's not a wife you saw, please remain mute! The guy worrying you to be with him, my dear young lady, if you don't see the future with him or not sure or certain, don't lead him on. And if you are in a relationship which you don't know the end from the beginning or your partner is not sure or certain, you have to accept the gospel that you are wasting your time, and take steps to move on. If you are in a relationship filled with fear that they might disappoint you or it won't end well, then there is no love in such a relationship except fear, and your fear might come to pass. By the time you kiss the wind, the love is gone. In conclusion "A real love for others will chase those worries away. The thought of being punished is what makes us afraid. It shows that we have not really learned to love" - 1 John 4:18 (CEV)...Danjuma Iliya.
